Design complexity: A simple, single character shape with basic features will cost less than a design with multiple moving parts, layered detailing, or an unusual body shape that needs custom patterning.

Materials: We use high quality, durable materials that are lightweight, breathable and safe for extended wear. The specific materials and finishes chosen for a design can affect the overall cost.

Size and scale: Larger costumes, or ones built to fit a wide range of wearers comfortably, generally take more material and construction time.

Level of customisation: Fully bespoke designs built from an original concept typically involve more design and prototyping work than adapting an existing style.

Rush orders: If you need your mascot faster than our standard timeline, a rush order can be arranged, though this comes with a 30 percent surcharge on top of the standard cost.

What the process looks like

Getting a quote starts with a conversation. We begin with a detailed consultation to understand what you need the mascot for, who it represents, and any specific features or requirements you have in mind. From there we move into design, prototyping and production.

We encourage collaboration throughout the design phase, so you have the chance to give feedback and request adjustments before anything is built. Once the artwork and modelling are approved, we move into the build and completion stages.

How long does it take

From the time we receive your order, advance payment and all approvals, such as the artwork, materials and mould, a mascot costume usually takes around 16 weeks to complete. Timelines can extend slightly around New Year, public holidays, or in the event of unforeseen delays such as transport disruptions. If you have a fixed event date in mind, it is worth starting the conversation as early as possible.
